Franchise Tagging Week

So I think the Panthers get two franchise tags this round and they have to be put out this week. Who is it going to be?

This got me to thinking, how likely is it that Moore will be tagged? Also does anyone know what this will cost compared to his last seasons salary?

Highly unlikely to anyone who knows anything about NFL off season mechanics... Google the repercussions if you want to know, that is likely what any of us would do to answer you.

Let's face it, he is pretty high on the list of prospects but for some reason (Jake?) I don't think the panthers want to sign him to a big deal otherwise they really should have done so already. However I do think the general consensus is that he has definitely earned the chance to start for a whole season.

Moore will be a restricted free agent... We get first dibs on him anyways, so no need to rush it

A tag would mean we get him for a year, see what he can do with in 16 games and then could sign him. The drawback is him kicking major butt and demanding an even bigger contract.

He wouldn't be tagged

I have no idea who the other prospect could be, maybe Davis just to see how he is after his surgery before signing a deal.

Davis will also be restricted if there is no CBA by March 5th... No need to tag him

I do think Panthers FO is hesitant to screw up the QB position again, perhaps this is the reason to the delay in doing anything but time is definitely running out.

No business is really being done by any team right now... Just wait until the last week in February/first week in March

I have an ingrown hair in my nose. It got pretty infected. Now my nose is all swollen and red. I look like rudolph.

On a side note, I have noticed a bunch of people want us to draft a TE. i think that is a waste of a draft pick. We have quality TE's on the roster and I think we could use the draft picks in other areas, like special teams, WR, DE, Saftey, QB.........

Tomorrow I embark on a personal journey to lose at least 70 pounds before my child is born...

That is 70 pounds in 27 weeks... or 2.59 or so pounds a week...

I think I can do it if I keep the willpower thing going... but if I were a betting man, I'd guess I'd be off the wagon and feeding my apparent tapeworm whatever the hell it wants within a couple weeks...

just remember, if you go the other way while your wife is gaining weight, it will start an awful weight gaining feedback loop that will never ever stop until you're jangler.

good luck on the weight loss. I have personally lost over 100 pounds. I can give one peice of advice. That is to jog. Didn't matter what i ate or drank, as long as i ran 3 times a week, the weight just fell off.

Yeah, the plan is to do at least 7 miles on the treadmill during the week, and increasing my physical activity in all times of the day... and doing some weight training/toning stuff at least 3 times a week...

treadmill is worthless, plus it shortens your stride and tears up your knees.

get your fat ass out there it's warming up.
