SorthNarolina's Mock Draft....

2nd round - Alex Carringon/Lammar Houston - this is actually my hardest pick to make. I don't really know who to pick here. I would almost rather trade down and get a punch of value in the late 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. With JR tightening his belt it'd still be crazy but more likely than previous years.

3rd round - Taylor Price WR - Don't know why he's ranked so low. This may become an unrealistic place to draft him as his stock rises. Doesn't have any return experience whatsoever which is odd considering his attributes.

4th round - Rennie Curran OLB - Seems like a great LB for the Cover 2. Undersized but hasn't affected play in college. Great in coverage but not at forcing turnovers. Maybe be an akward fit at SLB, but we need more speed among the back-ups.

6th round - Trindon Holiday - KR/PR - I think his stock will rise a good bit. Either keep him as a 4th RB or 5th WR. Best return specialist in the draft. Try him on in certain packages on offense.

7th round - Will Barker OT - We're on fire with our late round O-lineman, let the good times roll.

I'll update later with more, I'm in my music appriciation class I'm going home now.

I agree that 2nd round pick is tough. There looks to be some good value guys late 2nd-mid 3rd. Where we pick it seems to be somewhat of a reach to take them, but at the same time we'll probably miss out on the 1st round grade players that drop into the early 2nd. I'm hoping either Cody or Tate drops to us there, but who knows.

I really don't feel good about Cody, remember when Duke Robinson got carted off the field in training camp? I think the same thing will happen with Cody, too much non functional bulk. Hopefully he can slim down and get in shape for the NFL. He'll be disaster if he can't do it.
