Panthers Rumored to Host Thanksgiving Game

Thanksgiving games will be Detroit/NY Jets and Dallas/Chicago. Tampa Bay/Carolina will probably be the night game.

This guy seems to have a source that has leaked some primetime games. Obviously wild speculation, but it's that time of year right?

You would think NO would be more attractive, but this guy thinks they will already have 5 other primetime games (1st Thu, 2 MNF, 2 SNF).

This would be cool, an early Thanksgiving dinner and I'd have time to get to Charlotte for the game. Or just turkey and stuffing at the tailgate perhaps? I hope this guy is right.

Good point. I just assumed since he had listed Carolina second. But he lists the Jets and Chicago second as well and they will not be hosting games.

I noticed Carolina doesnt have a Sunday or Monday night football game

Tampa / Carolina has been a mainstay for Monday Night Football for several years now and seems to always draw a big audience. It would make sence to have this game on Thanksgiving night if the league is trying to draw in bigger audiences for their own network game. For all the talk about Carolina being in a small market, all of their primetime games usually get really high ratings no matter who the other team is.

i think it would be a better game if we played Dallas or the jets but i would be happy just playing on turkey day... hope that guy is wrong on the snf mnf cuz we didnt get any guess thats what happens when you go 8-8

If they want TV, they'd go with NO or PIT, but I'd take a B'more-Carolina turkey dessert.
