Giants may offer Peppers a 100 million dollar contract...

oh man nothing would make me happier than for him to get either completely hosed with a crappy contract or get an absolutely ludicrous one.... Either way once Pep gets locked up for the next few years his effort level is going to exponentially decrease

My new prediction: He plays solid next year probably ten to twelve sacks. The year after, assuming football is played, he will slowly start to slack off. Trade rumors will fly and who will trade for him....? Well none other than the Oakland Raiders

They're all fools!

Remember how he played against Dallas and Philly last year? Do they really want that 4 times a year? Jason Witten owned Peppers one on one.

well, in Pep's defense he was a beast against Philly.......he just didn't rack up on the stat sheet or able to overcome w/ the offense did. If you watch that game snap by snap and see what he personally was able to do in the first half.....he was pretty impressive.

I'll give you Dallas....that was one of the saddest games of his career imo.

Defense gave up 30+ points that day.....no one was stellar in that game.

I think JP would love to play in NY and I think he'd be well received.

The media will crucify him for his inconsistent play. They are brutal.

JP's quiet and introvert demeanor will not go over well. He does not like to deal with the media, and they demand access to the superstars there.

the D didn't give up 30......not at least my definition of what a D allows. Game was over at half and the D gave up 1 TD drive. The rest of the scores Philly's offense moved the ball 10 or less to score.

Pep was a force early in that game.........then Jake happened. I am ok w/ no one getting credit for a great game but you can't count that one against Peppers.

Well he might start playing hard every game with his new team to save face.

Pep didn't play bad....but no one played well.

I am by no means saying that Pep played bad. He is just inconsistent.

I guess anything is possible.

I just wonder how he will respond when the media rips him the first time....and it will happen in NY.

He did not like being called out by JR to be a leader. I just wonder.....

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
