I caught the highlights after the fact (think I was unconcious when it happened).

McCown would be the most logical but I would have thought that if that was the case that they would have signed him before cutting Delhomme. I mean is McCown's value going to be any less after he sits in FA for a couple of weeks than it was before FA began?

This movement to young players isn't just the fan's opinion. I think the organization, JR or Hurney or whoever, is looking to get young across the board. It wouldn't surprise me if even with Moore being declared the starter they would wait to see if a young, semi-experienced QB is cut are up for trade after the draft i.e. Quinn or Lienarht possibily.

And I don't think at all this is just JR being cheap. There seems to be some genius behind the madness.
