people are okay with the current situation because they are excited about all the "change". for 2011 the future looks real bright. for next season ..... not so much.

2 things to keep in mind for this offseason

1. watered down fa- this is a really watered down fa period. most fa's of value are already signed or were tendered. so basically we will be barrel scraping for camp fodder.

2.all the cuts and non resigns were made looking towards 2011

I just don't see any players coming here making the team better or patching all the holes we have in the roster.

Are we going to try and build through the draft? We don't have enough picks or high enough ones to get immediate impact players.

What worries me the most is it's the same every year, and every year it just doesn't live up to all the expectations or potential of the team.

That's not it, it's just that:

We didn't franchise Peppers, so theoretically there's a lot of that money still on the table.

This year is uncapped.

All that money was supposed to be for re-signing upcoming fa's and rfa's, but there have been several let go.

Each and every year the Panthers make little to no splash in FA and each and every year there are large gaps and weaknesses in our roster.

So there just comes a point where you have to stop and say, wtf is the game plan here?

obviously hd. if you have never worked in a nfl fo you have no say on any issue regarding the nfl, according to people on this board. also if you make millions doing your job that means you are never wrong.

When it comes down right to it, the guys up top have far more impressive resumes than anyone on this board. I have my reservations about stuff the guys do and my opinions about players but I don't really go as far as some people do to criticize them. Nobody said making millions makes your decisions infallible either. When people make such broad and seething remarks about the organization it comes off as a little arrogant to me. I disagree with some stuff they do but in the end they are doing what they think is best and they know more than I do. So I don't feel like making such comments is warranted. Be humble in your critque and you won't get mocked.
