Panthers front office just preparing us all for next year...

Recommended Posts

I figured it out!

Since there is seemingly a lockout on the horizon, the Panthers have decided to go ahead and get fans used to not having something to watch on Sundays...

We are dumping a ton of money, and at this point planning to field a team that could have starred in "The Replacements"... We are getting our remaining star players upset...

We're also raising ticket prices to discourage more people from attending games...

In advance of a season with no football, our awesome ownership is preparing us for a season without the Panthers...

Maybe if the Owners Union caves in to the demands of the Players Union, Jerry just plans on dumping the team on someone else, and saving himself some money in the process...

Thanks for looking out for the fans, guys!

(btw, this is not intended to be serious)

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
