listen to the latest canes corner podcast.  I agree with gold 100%. Jarvis is on the wrong line. Period.  He needs more scoring opportunities.  

Staal line really just needs to be face off and lockdown   Nothing more nothing less  

our lines for us to truly unlock offense need to be this:

 

Gutz Aho Turbo

Svech Kuzy necas 

Staal Martnook fast 

Jarvy Drury Noesen 

defense is fine. All though burns needs to address his turnovers.

We need to give them time to gel. It’s going to take some time for Kuz and Guentzel to acclimate to our dump-‘n-chase system and the rest of the team to be comfortable on a line with them as they learn their tendencies and build chemistry. Also, lines could look much different and more productive a few weeks from now.

      Question to the posters on this thread because you are knowledgeable--I love watching and pull for the Canes, but I never played so I don't have the understanding I had when I played football then watched it.  Having said that, Do you think we are weak at Center?  I see the team to be pretty strong on the wings, promising defense, and weak at Goalie.  It would be ideal if the Canes had 1 more position to upgrade, not 2.  I don't think you can count on Anderson to play a full season and he is 35.  However, are we solid at Center in your view?

      Couldn't agree more, Kooch is erratic and Freddy is fragile, maybe save the remaining cap space for a goalie stud at the deadline

      There is one play that sold me-- it was around 2:38, I think.  It was 4th and 1 and the QB telegraphed and threw the ball out wide to TMac.  He had no blocking (the TE was very late) and four defenders collapsed on TMac behind the LOS. They seemed to know it was coming.  He got hit behind the LOS and battled through several hits to get three yards.  THAT play showed me his fire.
