I need an brief Panthers update. I've been out of the loop since mid-season last year and I've heard very little. I do know Jake and Pep are gone and that's it. Have we let go/picked up any other players? Staff changes? Other trades and draft prospects/rumors/speculations? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I read books a lot. Kinda hoping for a consolidated resource, but if no one has a few minutes I understand. What if I offer to buy the best debriefer a beer at training camp this year? I'm living just a short drive from Sparta this year and plan on going a few times. And really politics and sports = oil and water.

well....here goes

Pep leaves, could be gay

Bratyon leaves, but then he stays

Jake cries, becomes a brown

Hoover cut, sky falls down

Dwill to be traded, truth or lies,

PFT reports, Fox denies

Ticket prices rise, salaries fall

Marcus hudson signs, can he ball?

Moore named starter, bout dang time,

Vick rumors arise, "he paid for his crime"

Landon gets cut, "thank the lord",

Diggs gets cut, "What'd we do that for?"

Thanksgiving night game, could be us?

But who wants to see, panthers vs bucs?

Not much to talk about, until we draft The Golden Calf of Bristol,

That is, of course, if we don't sign T.O.

I think that about covers it

Well to sum it up, this is a very good time to be a Carolina Panthers fan. We are seeing a renaissance of offense with Matt Moore and the Funky Bunch. Our defense lost some good players but are being replaced by some quality youth. Look for Chales Johnson to have a pro bowl caliber year. We might sign Daunte Culpepper to stand on the side lines and teach all players and fans how to get thier roll on (crosses fingers). Last season ended with a bang and we are looking to continue on into next season. Its Super Bowl or Bust so get revved up for a great year, and a promising future for your Carolina Panthers.

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
