Don’t underestimate Fasty. He creates his opportunities. That’s what you need in the playoffs.

if I had to guess the real thing is coming Saturday morning.

Canes practicing again at 11:00~ today. I assume the islanders are already in town and will practice today since it’s a 5:00PM start tomorrow.

Full schedules out. Looks like Tampa v. Florida is the only series with every other day in the East. Bruins/Leafs, Caps/Rags and Us all have at least one 2 day break in the first 4/whole series.

Isles are practicing somewhere(I think NY). Dobson is back. Barzal is back. Engvall is back.

Looks like both teams will have relatively full healthy complements for game one. Fasty excluded most likely.

Pageau is the only absence being reported from islanders practice.

Donny Wads said Fasty does not have a concussion, “more of a neck strain”…

Either him or Rod confirmed Fasty is out game 1 at least. With RBA saying “until he gets in a practice you can pretty much rule him out”.
