So yeah, I'm all about Crystal Bowersox now.

She's cleaned up a lot appearance-wise since her first audition.

They start getting coaches (Clothes, style, voice, etc) when they get so far into the show.

Remember Clay Aiken. He went from a geeky gay guy to hip crooner before the show was over. (even though he didn't win.)

All the judges hated Didi's performance last week. I thought it was excellent.

Yeah, they are always down on her... I just think she did something to piss them off or something and they aren't letting it go...

She's got some of the most pro-style pipes on the show in a long time, even more than Bowersox I think, but she just keeps picking kind of shitty songs to showcase it...

She's incredibly timid too, and ready to shed tears at any given moment... One positive though is that it seemed like she toughened up a bit this past week to the criticism, and maybe she'll be able to take that and knock their socks off this week...

What about that latino dude?... WTF happened to him? That "Straight Up" cover was the peak of his time on AI...

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
