Javon Walker willing to take league minimum

he will be worth the risk. If he isn't 100% then we can cut him in the preseason. I think anyone from Oakland deserves a chance somewhere else not to mention in 2007 when his stats started shrinking he had other receivers like Stokley and Marshall and not to mention he only played in 8 games and started 5. In Oakland he had the great JaMarcus Russell throwing to him and he only played 8 games that year also. Russell had a 13.1 average reception and one td in that injury plagued season. If he has recovered from injury then he might be someone who can help our team out.

not at all on the 'sign javon walker' bandwagon (if there is such a thing) but i remember how poorly randy moss played in oakland. not saying that walker is randy moss but the situation in oakland very well could have made him worse than he actually is.

worth a look...esp. if for cheap.

yep, that's all I'm sayin..

you would think he would get open somewhat often with Smitty and Marshall taking any and all pressure off of him.. (or whoever..) but if he's cheap, we could go from worst in the league at WR to at least top 10..

(basing this on the assumption that the Panthers wake up and go for Marshall)
