Won't see this article in Philly....

The Braves are in first place. Why is the ballpark half-empty?

Well, Atlanta ranks 14th (just above half) in average attendance this season. Mind you they have an enormous stadium to it always appears there are less people there: http://espn.go.com/mlb/attendance

Also, Philadelphia's population is 1,547,297 (6th in the US) whereas Atlanta's

population is 540,921 (33rd in the US): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population

And lastly:

I agree. But I wish the Braves had even better support.

You made the mistake of using city population. Metro population is a better indicator of a city's true size.

Atlanta has a metro population of over 5.4 million. (9th in the US)

Philly has a metro population of over 5.8 million. (5th in the US)

In other words, Atlanta & Philly are roughly the same size.

Damnit, man. I didn't "make the mistake", I intentionally used City not Metro area to skew the stats in my favor. Way to help JR prove his point.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
