Every John Fox/Hurney draft pick

But not like the Panthers have. Just look at the DT picks

Atiyyah Ellison- SUCKED- Ellison was drafted before these Defensive Tackles: Pro Bowler Jay Ratliff, and C.J. Mosley.

Nick Hayden- SUCKS- Hayden was drafted before Ahtyba Rubin.

Corvey Irvin- IS GOING TO SUCK- Irvin was drafted before Sammie Hill.

At least the guys I mentioned above have produced.

No of course not. All 31 other teams have successfully drafted DT's over and over without any significant number of busts.

In the past 1O years find me a team that has drafted defensive tackle's and all of them have recorded stats worse than this...

2OO9 Stats

Atiyyah Ellison- 16 tackles

Nick Hayden- 17 tackles

Corvey Irvin- O tackles

Anymore stupid comments???

Dude teams have failed drafted DT's early in the draft.... None of these DT's were drafted to come in and immediately contribute.... They were drafted from the middle to later of the draft... more project type picks.... Complain when we spend 1st round picks on them and then fail!!

Any more stupid arguments you want to make??

Uh yeah, there are plenty of guys that can contribute that are drafted in the mid rounds or even undrafted that come in and contribute right away. And since you brought up wide receivers in your previous post we will look at them. We drafted Keary Colbert and Drew Carter in 2OO4 and passed on Wes Welker, Malcom Floyd, Patrick Crayton, Mark Jones, Ernest Wilford, Jerricho Cotchrey, and Bernard Berrian.

In 2OO7 we drafted Dwayne Jarrett before Steve Smith, Mike-Sims Walker, Johnnie-Lee Higgins, and Yamon Figurs. As where Ryne Robinson was drafted before Steve Breaston.

The point is the Panthers reach to much, and can't draft worth a damn after the first 3 Rounds.

Any more smart-ass comments???

Off the top of my head the Denver Bronco's. The Buffalo Bills have drafted about 4 times as many DT's as we have and only one of them a 5th rounder Kyle Williams has panned out to be anything. They also spent a 1st on a DT who hasn't worked out, McCargo. The Redskins haven't had any luck at DT either, although I think they have only drafted like 1 or 2 DT's since 2002.

Every team struggles to find talent at different positions. Look how many WR's that Philly drafted before hitting on Jackson. Now everyone thinks that Philly is a great team at finding WR's.

Deshaun Foster was a good pick imo. He would have been a great player had he not been bit by the injury bug. I honestly believe he would have been really special. Drew Carter was pretty decent for a 5th round pick. Hangman was a great selection and Michael Gaines was never used to his talents. Javon Haye is a good player, just not for us.

Hindsight really is 20/20.... I guess all these NFL scouts should know exactly who is going to do what once they get to the NFL.... Right! It's a science.... so easy to evaluate based on college tape when they played in different systems with different competition.

You want to mention the few who succeeded, why not mention the 23 WR's who were drafted after Dwayne Jarrett who have not panned out, or the 17 that were drafted after Colbert who did not work out....

Way to look at the big picture dude

Whats wrong with the NFL Front office???? Not nailing everyone of these 250 + NFL picks a year??? Come on Man!!!!
