Just came up with a reason against moving east, green chili chicken enchiladas, wife just made some and man was it good. Can you guys buy fresh green chili there?

If you are in New Mexico and get fresh Hatch chili's, then no, you won't get anything here that compares.

Yes sir that is what we get, grew up not far from there. I was stationed in Groton Conn sub base back in 82 and still remember how bad I craved good chili. How is it that you know about Hatch chili?

I used to be stationed at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque back in the day. I still miss the food out there...especially the real sopaipillas (here they call fried tortillas sopaipillas, ugh).

Lived in W-S, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Also worked in GSO.

Charlotte is great for the 20 somethings. If Raleigh is more of your thing, I can understand that.

GSO sucks unless you are gay and looking for some action.

Raleigh is great for 20 somethings as well.. getting over a hangover from going to Glenwood South, myself...

has gotten pretty good in the last few years...

Man that is just sad, but every place has its nitch in the food world. I hear you all have really good BBQ out there.

Talking about food and stuff, if you want remind me after the season starts and I will send you or someone else out a bag or two of green chili for a Huddle tailgate. Makes for a great green chili cheese burger.

I'll definitely stay on top of this... lol

and yeah, rumor has it the BBQ here is fairly good.. ;)
