Seems Bucs fans think more of Clausen....

I laugh at how they think McCoy and Price will dominate on the DL. DT's usually do NOT make a big impact in their rookie year. It is the 2nd year that the light comes on and they start producing.

The McCoy and Price picks SHOULD make the Tampa DL back to a dominant item....but, I don't think it is this year.

Roy Miller was quite effective in his 1st year for us

jkeough 1 thing i noticed from that thread is that you bucs fans are much more classy than those fans from new orleans and atlanta.. just reading through the threads on ur forums, i respect u guys much more.. just thought it was worth sayin

thanks man,i think it all stems from the fact that our franchises were almost a mirror image of one another and we respect you guys much more so than the Aints and Falgoons

Not downplaying the picks at all....I think they will end up being a great set of DT's. I was just repeating what several of the guys on the draft (NFLN) were saying about rookie DT's. they just said they light usually comes on in the 2nd year. They could very well be damn good their rookie year....just would not count on it.

Yep. Always considered the Bucs our rivals due to their fans. It's fun to talk with them.

a lot of them are talking smack about their two new defensive tackles. did they forget the panthers have 4 offensive linemen who are some of the best at their positions? whoever they plug into the 5th spot isn't going to be a slouch either. if duke robinson somehow ends up the best right guard after camp and preseason, that's 330 pounds of 6'5" beef coming at those defensive tackles. good luck.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
