MATURE CARDINAL/PANTHER FANS ONLY!!!

It's FUN to talk SMACK,but I really would like to really here what you guys really think about Saturday's game without all the FU'S.MF'S and all that other nonsense, if it's possible.

Here is my take on the game, I actuall like Steve Smith and I think you guys really have a GREAT! running game. I knew all season long that you guys would be in this position and every year as a CARDINALS fan ,I pray to be in this position,GUESS WHAT? we are here this year.

Our last game in your HOUSE you must admit "WE LET YOU OFF THE HOOK!",but thats my Cardinals, not knowing how to finish.

I expect this game to be a really good game and if we can duplicate the defensive performance of last week,WE WILL WIN! What else did you expect me to say ?

I know you guys have been UNDEFEATED at home, that does't worry me..."We all know "ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END!"

I HOPE THIS GAME IS INJURY FREE FOR BOTH TEAMS !!!

MY PREDICTION :

CARDINALS 34

PANTHERS 30

BETTING ADVICE CARDINALS +10 / and the OVER

2009 The year of the BIRDS !!!

YA'LL BETTER BE READY SATURDAY NIGHT FOR THE:

BIG PAYBACK !!!

well I wish i could understand how you "let us off the hook". a 24-6 run after you guys got that blocked punt and all, only thing you guys let off was your game. I do think this will be a decent game, but with our d all rested up and ready to go i don't see your running game being able to have any effect and i don't see your defense being able to contain williams, stewart, smith and moose. it was a nice lucky run, but cardinals season ends saturday night.

Looking at this game based on what's happened this season. The Cardinals are the type of team we always beat and we are the type of team they always lose to. We have not lost to a top 10 passing team (6-0), while Arizona almost always loses to top 10 rushing attacks (1-6). I know things can change in the playoffs but nothing about this matchup points to a Cardinal victory if the Panthers play Panther football.

I'm not sure if you guys let us off the hook the first time. Our offense woke up, Steve Smith made one hell of a grab, and you guys couldn't stop us on third down to get the ball back because of Dwayne Jarrett.

Our offense has improved. Our O-line is healthy (minus Vincent, but Bridges is a great replacement), Otah and Gross are a lot better than Atlanta's two tackles. Hopefully we can keep the ball from you guys, because.......

Our Defense worries me a little.

All good things do come to an end. Hopefully it will be the Cardinals season.

we lost the 1st game. we didnt let u guys off the ook or ne thing. we straight loss the game. i agree with you, but to say we had a lucky run is you being a homer(which is fine). look we beat atl. Cardinals straight OUTPLAYED them. if you guys weren't so perfect towards the end of the season, ATL would have been a #2 seed. Not making excuses u guys EARNED the #2 spot. my point being is we outplayed a team that had the potential to be #2. idk why u would say lucky run? i mean give the cards a lil bit of props. i believe that if it does rain, arizona we have a problem!

only thing i meant by lucky run was making the playoffs only going 9-7 as a divisional seed. The game against atlanta you guys played good football and had a good game plan setup, however i just dont see us being rattled(especially since we are at home) like the falcons were. Though you guys did put a good stop to turner(loved seeing him handled) i'm not sure that both williams and stewart can be stopped. I could see you guys stuffing one of them for more attempts but with two great backs we should be able to control the clock like the end of our last encounter.

though hopefully we learned from our end of season close encounters and try and run the score up while in the lead.

The difference between winning and losing against Atlanta was a loud crowd preventing them from changing up the snap count. How many times did your D-line shoot the gaps right on the snap (and several times just before)? The difference in score is the defensive touchdown scored because your d-lineman shot the gap on the snap count.

I knew when we beat you guys that we would see you again. I knew then you were a good team and scared me with the way we got behind. I will agree that our Offense was in their 3-4 game slump at that time. We haven't spotted anyone points since the Atl game. And in the playoffs Jake and Smitty go off. I also think we'll win, but I won't lie and say I'm not nervous.

    • That is just Panthers history pain speaking.
    • From what I gather, sure it allows you more room in that you can manipulate the cap more due to smaller prorated amounts to fit salaries in, but for cap purposes, you're still on the hook for the money at the end of the day.    "ChatGPT You said: What are the advantages for NFL teams to sign larger signing bonuses? ChatGPT said: NFL teams often use large signing bonuses as a strategic tool in contracts. While they cost real cash up front, they offer several advantages, especially when it comes to salary cap management, player retention, and negotiation leverage. Here's a breakdown of the benefits: ✅ 1. Salary Cap Flexibility Signing bonuses are prorated over the life of the contract (up to 5 years) for salary cap purposes. This allows teams to spread out the cap hit, even if the player receives the money immediately. Example: A $20M signing bonus on a 4-year deal counts only $5M/year against the cap. ✅ 2. Attracting Top Talent Players love signing bonuses because they're guaranteed money paid up front. Offering a bigger signing bonus can sweeten the deal without inflating yearly salaries. ✅ 3. Front-Loading Real Cash, Not Cap Teams with strong cash flow can pay big bonuses now while minimizing the immediate cap hit. Useful for teams trying to build around rookie QB contracts or with flexible cash budgets. ✅ 4. Locking in Key Players Larger bonuses make it harder for a player to be released early due to dead cap consequences. This can create more job security for the player and roster continuity for the team. ✅ 5. Leverage in Restructures Big signing bonuses create future cap hits via proration. Teams can later restructure deals (e.g., convert salary to bonus) to create even more cap space. ✅ 6. Competitive Edge In free agency, a team offering more guaranteed cash up front often wins the bidding war, even if the total contract value is lower than another team's. ⚠️ Key Caveat: Large signing bonuses increase dead cap risk if the player is cut or traded early."   I think that roster bonuses can be a useful tool if you're trying to keep players in by manipulating numbers and spreading the hit over time, but I don't think that it's something that you want to use unless it's "necessary." I don't know that you want to get into signing rookies on roster bonuses, as the bust rate is relatively high.
    • not even if that team in New Orleans disbands before the first game.  Saw one 2026 mock that had them drafting first next year.
