Our offense should be better than last year.

I fear that when the big names come up for contract extensions (DeAngelo, Kalil, etc.), we will see them walk far more than in previous years.

If this is really more a "we must keep costs in line with revenues no matter what" NFL business rather than a "we want to win no matter what the cost" NFL business, the Panthers may be doomed to mediocrity in perpetuity.

I think that a big reason for the current financial prudence is to assure that we'll have the funds to re-sign Davis, Williams, and Kalil.
