those without a humidor...how do you store your cigars to keep them fresh? I've got a box of Romeo and Juliets and don't have a humidor, so the box is sealed in a cupboard...I want to have one...but don't want the rest of them to dry out, you know!!!

You can store them for a couple of weeks in a plastic zip-loc bag. Go to the cigar store (tinderbos, Outland, etc) and purchase one of the humitity patches. But one for a 72% humidity and throw it in the bag. Should keep them nice for a few weeks.

Any longer than that, and you need a small humidor.

Either over humidified or let them dry out. basically didn't maintain them properly.

Now I have a wine fridge where you just set the temp and walk away for 10 years :)

Gotcha. Yeah, don't waste your time with a piece of poo humidor. Gonna have to spend some money and get a good one or you're wasting time and money. I dropped $100 on mine. It's a beautiful spanish cedar with a gorgeous stain and finish... holds 85 sticks and has never failed me once!
