New Mtn. Dews

No throwback was/is better than Dr. Pepper made with pure cane sugar. I hadn't had soda in like 2 years but about 2 months ago my roommate and I ordered some from the Dr. Pepper plant in Texas where you can still get the stuff. Incredible!

You can get it in NC, too. Only in West Jefferson, though.

I stopped drinking soda a long time ago, but my dad says it's good.

Sundrop.

Man I miss that stuff. I haven't had it since I was in teh South. Tell ya what, i'll trade you a 6 pack of Sundrop for a sixer of Cactus Cooler...

I've never tried Cactus Cooler, but I've heard of it. I'm sure arrangements could be made. Sundrop is plentiful here. :D

^this^

Go a couple of months without sodas and sweet tea and you'll never go back. I used to drink Mt Dew by the gallon. I'm the guy that bought that 64oz refillable cup at the quickie-mart for my Mt Dew. Stopped drinking sweet drinks a couple of years ago and now Mt Dew tastes like syrup to me. So sweet I cant drink it.

I drink three liquids almost daily: one cup of coffee in the morning, about 90 ounces of water throughout the day, and a beer or glass of wine with dinner.

I still love sweet tea and drink it every now and then, but sodas are actually a real treat to me. Sounds funny, but now I love a nice fountain Coca-Cola because I don't have it often.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
