Superbowl in NY (actually NJ)

personally...I think if you are big enough to host an NFL team, you are big enough to host a Super Bowl! Same with the weather....Seattle can't host because they have an open air stadium and it might rain/snow? That's bullshit....it's an all weather game!!!!

its aggravating to hear people whine, moan and b*tch about weather in the Super Bowl. and use words like "fair chance" what about the games that get you into the freaking game??? do all of them have to be indoors as well?? thats one reason why I hate that the Saints got home field. its pure BS. play the damn game they way it was meant to be played. the old school players are probably laughing at those wusses

There is no train to the Meadowlands. You can take a train from NYC to Hoboken which is across the river then drive the ~10 miles up RT 3 to the Meadowlands. There are also trains from NYC to Newark but that is then a drive to the Meadowlands.

The Stadium is in the middle of swamp and surrounded by nothing but a big huge parking lot. The only way to get to anything is by car and like I said there is nothing even really nice around the area. You will really have to take the drive into the City to do stuff.

Ok... let me stand a bit corrected..... in the Meadowlands is also a horse track, Arena, and a never finished place called Xanadu that was supposed to be an indoor ski slope

They actually just finished a line going straight to the stadium.

maybe you could put a stagger in there...but I really don't think it should take more than a year to plan either...but thats just me!

Hotels are booked way in advance. Maybe not in Charlotte or other smaller markets, but in the big titties they are. I mean cities.

I disagree...you get a group of folks that roam from city to city to assist...and what else do you have? You book the entertainment, you book the special guests....pretty easy I think, especially if you have people onboard who have done it before.

Meat's right. You have to make sure the books are clear as far as conferences, festivals and such.

Why is everyone complaining about the Super Bowl going to a colder, open air stadium? An environment like that would benefit teams that run the ball more often (like us) and hurt teams that pass more often (like the Saints). Anything that could possibly play in to our hands is ok in my book.

    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
    • I mean as far as his size goes it's all over his tape bouncing up and down on his toes in and around the pocket trying to see the field and defenses know this as well as we do but if folks here want to live in never never land and pretend it's not a thing that's their prerogative. Even our head coach has made it a key focal point to get his footwork under control. But it's still something Bryce is going to be tested on early and often no matter how many keystrokes anyone here commits to the narrative it isn't an issue.
    • It speaks volumes that when asked to define a clear performance threshold the responses instead fixate on Bryce's size. It reinforces what’s been clear for a while now... that for some, it has never been nor will it ever be about production. Any struggles will always be chalked up to his frame, and any strong play will be downplayed or disqualified via highly mobile goalposts.
