Ive been picking LA every series of this playoff. This is where I stop. Give me Boston in 6 games please. The Celtics are back and are playing some great basketball right now. The defense is clicking, Paul Pierce is playing better, their bench guys like Nate Robinson, Sheed, Tony Allen, & Big Baby are stepping up huge. I think Rondo can dominate this series, and I think Garnett & Perkins will slow down Gasol & Bynum. This is more than likely the last hurrah for the Big 3, and I think they go out with a bang winning their 2nd title (both over the Lakers) in 3 years.

this will be an incredible series for sure! Two great ball teams going head to head! I'm a die hard Laker fan so can't bet against them, but I will say, they have their hands full and Boston doesn't lose too many final series!!!

Artest is the difference between the Lakers from 2 years ago. Lakers in 6, I think Artest takes who ever he's on out of the series. Boston will have to rely on Rondo to win this series, he has to take over for Boston to win.

Artest isn't going to show up when they need him the most, this time.

The Celtics will fight hard but I think the Lakers will win it (*Pukes*).

By the way, props to KT for continuing to put together these excellent threads and Modding the NBA forum.

The other Mods are like County workers leaning on a shovel compared to KT! :ciappa:

ummm...I'm sitting in the truck while you lean on your shovel...keep digging bitch!!!

nice job though KT

    • Haven’t watched it yet, but whining about the line (which wasn’t nearly as bad as the Young fanboys’ narrative says it was) and the pass catchers is the siren song of people who refuse to admit they were wrong about Young during the draft process. I still hope Young is able to develop, but I’m not expecting it.
    • disagree.   going into last year....some said Frank's O and the talented we added around Bryce didn't fit very well.  And that he would likely struggle as teams sat on our pass game with Bryce.   And that was basically how the entire season unfolded.   They didn't have the talent or scheme for Bryce to get the ball out quick....and the results were going to be bad for him without it.  It's not his fault given we drafted him...but Bryce not fitting what we wanted to do offensively, killed the O.  Mentioning that got you destroyed on the board last year.  That's still the case IMO.  Bryce Young is not the QB that you want running a Canales O.  But again, that won't be Bryce's fault.  This is all Tepper's creation and pairing of things.
    • I feel largely the same way I did entering last year.  What we are attempting to be on O.....doesn't matchup with Bryce Young.   Scheme nor talent.  I think Canales would pair much better with a young Jake Delhomme.  And Johnson and XL would be great additions for a young Jake Delhomme.  It would be fun.  Bryce is going to make this OL look worse.  He is too small to be in a traditional pocket/scheme at this level.   Bryce Young needs an innovative/Bryce Young centric O scheme to succeed with a bunch of quick YAC check down talent.  That's not Canales.
