DT's are back, had a week of rest. Able to watch some film. I thinking the 1st half of year defense is gonna show up tomorrow. Those of you at the game make sure you show the D some love and keep them pumped up.:sifone:

Ken Lucas is gonna pick off a pass. Pep's getting 2 sacks. And arizona is gonna get 73 yards on the ground :P . Only 217 in the air. LETS GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same feeling. Although your stats are a bit optimistic.

But I just know Peppers and Co, will not be made a mockery of tomorrow, no matter how great the Cardinals offense may be. They have the talent, the skill, they have done it THIS year. They just needed some rest and some time to get it back together. They will be fine tomorrow.

If Warner doesn't get more yards than that I'll be surprised. I feel like we have to get pressure early and often on Warner to prevent him from going off. That means some man coverage on the outside, which we haven't done a whole lot of this year. Give safety help to whoever is covering Fitz and man up Breaston, and mix up some blitzes. If we don't get pressure on Warner, and I'm not talking about getting sacks necessarily, this game will be close all the way through. Gotta get Warner out of the pocket.

I believe the D line will show up and with Kemo back, it should take some of the doubles off the ends - I hope 21 shows up big like you say. Like Thomas Davis said yeaterday - as long as they don't get to the endzone, they can have all the yards they want.

GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!! Let it rain!!!!!

I just don't see how the cards lost big to teams like the Jets ,eagles ,patriots even the vikings at home....the vikings....But what worries me is the fact that the cards was able to hang with us ...they matches up with us and that scary.

Arizona is a completely different team on the road than at home.

Look at those teams. The Eagles and Vikings bring lots of heat and disrupt Warner. The Jets and Patriots play cover 2 and make they dink and dunk for short all over the field.

If we play tight coverage on their receivers, double Fitz and bring lots of heat, the Cardinals will wilt. Once they get behind they give up. when we nade correct adjustments after halftime the first game we rolled them 24-6. They do play tough down the stretch and don't comeback. if you get them down early they fold. The longer they hang in the game they tougher they will be. If we demoralize them early and get out to a big lead like we have the past 2 games it will be over. There won't be any 21 point surges in the second half.

Moreso, the common theme in those three road losses was the bad weather. Warner CANNOT play in the cold or rain, plain and simple.

    • This is a good story--I LOVED his dad as a person and player--I talked to him at an OTA (he was back for his second stint) and he was talking about Moore (the WR from Wake Forest) being so young.  I was with my teenage son and told him, "This is Taylor.  He and I attended the OTAs when you were in Rock Hill as a rookie."  He jokes, "Was he in diapers then?" and laughed.  I imagine Moose III was in diapers when we chatted that day.  So I really would love for this to work out.  However, his stats do not suggest he was anything special in college.
    • I guess there are signs. The combination of the turf toe, hamstring, and knee issues led to questions about his long-term health and affected his draft stock, causing him to fall to the second round.  Here is what I know about a knee injury.  It changes nearly every aspect of your lower body movement.  So the turf toe and hamstring could be related.  It makes him seem injury prone.  I guess the knee was not the most recent injury, so the others could have been a result of favoring the knee. Johnson did not run the 40 at the combine or pro day.  That suggests there is something he feels might drop his value.  So if you downplay the severity of the injury, have a history of possibly related injuries, and refuse to demonstrate (when given multiple opportunities) that you are fully recovered, don't get mad when your stock drops.
    • I saw numerous reports leading up to the draft that he'd been injury red flagged by numerous teams due to cartilage damage and wear issues that they think could shorten his career.
