So I turn it to the NFL channel at 5 in the AM

I get tired of the Jake jokes, really tired. The guy got injured and turned to crap, doesn't change the fact that he got us to a Super Bowl and another NFC Championship game before that.

On top of that he's an actual decent human being.

agreed. Jake always left it all on the field, he loved the game and this team, makes you wonder what things would be like if he hadnt gotten hurt.

also, i guess i just didnt realize jake had a good arm since he was always under-throwing smitty, but smitty may just be too fast for anyone :D

Wow. This thread was a winner for its creator.

I saw this qb challange the year it was done. So I recognized it, and laughed cause even though jack was at the bottom (for running that stage wrong) I knew he was going to win it in the end.

Somehow I just knew someone was going to post about it also. Little did I know this poster was going to fail worse than jake had in his last season as a panther.

Oh, and just say 5 am. Saying it the way ya did makes ya sound like you're inbred.

Agreed. People need to be more thankful that we had a top tier QB for a few years. They need to be thankful that we're not fans of the Bucs or Raiders or something.

See but that's just it. My perception of people who make comments like that about Jake is basically that they are new to watching the team and never went through those first 5 years of the franchise. Or maybe theyre new to football? Idk but Jake most definitely statistically made more of mark here than any other QB to the point that its not even close (Even on average I would bet - given maybe 2 years starting and no im not gonna look that up cause Im lazy). Then there the off-field side of Jake. . . how could you possibly talk chit about this guy. Its so sadly tell tale of these "fans".

Yep. It's real sad to hear about some of our fanbase who talk crap like that & act so immature for their age. I mean, one guy said something like "I will not root for the Panthers as long Jake & Fox are still here!!". People who say that kind of crap should stop rooting for the Panthers, since that is not the way a person should be a fan of the team. If one call themself a fan, they should support their team 100% no matter what. You don't have like to someone who is playing for your team, but it doesn't mean you should stop rooting for the whole team though. Not saying you should cheer for them losing: you should support them & hope they win.
