The Howard Stern Show

The Saltman

Recommended Posts

He had a television show on briefly many years ago. and im not talking about that lame thing he did with the cameras showing him broadcasting his radio show. this was a real variety show/talk show.

It was hilarious. most of you guys were in diapers or your daddys bag at the time.

i've had sirius for awhile now. used to listen to stern, but got over it. i enjoy the music, nfl and comedy channels more than stern. i've never been big on talk radio anyway though.

and fyi, especially for jasonluckydog, last time it was time for me to renew i called threatening to cancel. had no intention of doing so. they gave me the year at half price, and i got them to throw in the online listening for free. a co-worker told me they offered him that when he called to cancel.

since I got sirius radio I have been listening to him lately...never really did before. But now I am addicted...that shiit is hilarious.

Stern use to be too fake and I the show also use to turn me off. However, Stern is a lot more real now imo and what he is doing right now is the best stuff he has ever done. If the only Howard Stern people were exposed to was the current version......he would have a lot more fans. He old ways and what he did to get to where he is today turned off a lot of people. I hope he doesn't leave. Howard and NFL Sirius is all I listen to.

back in the day he imo tried to play more of a character on the air to get him where he is today. Today, you get more of the real Howard. He is 10x better now than he ever was in past. You can listen to his old stuff they replay and tell how much he he has changed on air.

    • Seven North Carolina players have entered the transfer portal or announced their intentions to enter so far today: Derek Dixon (6.5 PPG) Jonathan Powell (4.8 PPG) Kyan Evans (4.0 PPG) Zayden High (3.4 PPG) Isaiah Denis (1.9 PPG) Jaydon Young (1.8 PPG) James Brown (1.2 PPG)
    • As long as we have DB, odd man fronts are the way to go for us. We want to line DB up between the guard and tackle (4i-tech) because of how quick he is off the snap and his punch on the guard off the snap. If anyone is wondering why he pretty much has to be doubled (or combo blocked) just about every snap, its because he is lined up in that spot in our odd man front. If we change to an even front, it becomes a lot harder to have DB play the 4i-tech.  Not sure if I would say Evero likes smaller NTs - I wouldn't call Bobby Brown a small NT by any sense. I think we run a 1-tech NT, so they are usually getting double teamed (or combo blocked) by concept alone. I actually think Bobby Brown did a pretty good job of eating blocks and being positionally sound on most runs at him (not his fault we were rocking ass LBs last year + Wharton being god awful). The bigger problem came on the toss plays/outside runs where DB wasn't able to blow it up in the backfield (i.e., the Bills game). Lloyd should help with the run D and getting a rangy LB in the draft will definitely help. There are also some good 1-tech DTs (and 0-techs) that can be instant day 1 starters for us in the draft.
