humans need more natural predators....you know...the whole thinning of the herd mentality!

We have them. Boubonic plague, Aids, sarin gas...they are there.

The biggest natural predator that we have is ourself. War is what kept much of the old population in check, but now we really don't fight hand to hand, and haven't for a couple hundred years.

Take away diplomacy, doctors, and advanced medical treatment, and we will get this population in check pretty quickly.

Nope, in fact the trend now is for the dumb masses to reproduce more while those with genes worth passing on carry on with their professional lives and might have one or two kids in their thirties.

I think revoking seatbelt and helmet laws alone would fix some of that. Open try-outs for NASCAR would get even more.
