Darin Gnatt thinks Kenny Moore will replace Smitty at the start of camp

The only reason I would like to see Moore with the ones is that Jarrett and LaFell provide NO speed. Would rather have Moore and Edwards able to stretch the field....with LaFell and Jarrett fighting it out for the #2 spot as the big blocking WR.

lafell is faster than jarrett. jarrett is just slow as hell

Maybe I'm missing something....Just because Kenny Moore is faster that makes him the better choice? What exactly has Moore done? What could any of these WR's do with Jake as the QB? We complain and complain about production but how often were Jarrett or Moore called on to produce last year? I saw Jarrett make some nice 3rd down catches. Moore? I remember him dropping some easy catches and fumbling the ball

As much as Jarrett hasn't earned a starting spot, he is the next one with the most NFL experience. As much as I'd love to have the team cut him, and move on from him, to assume a rookie is going to start over him, before training camp and pre-season has started, you might as well be claiming the earth is flat.

Jarrett for his career has mainly been used in 3rd down situations. I don't know what the % of times thrown is compared to catches made. But from what I remember it's pretty high. He's made some nice catches while he's been in the game. I just can't understand all the Jarrett hate.

Blah....Someone has to throw you the ball first

You do realize Jarrett was benched in favor of Kenneth Moore and Charlie whatever his name was right? 17 receptions in 3 years for a 2nd round pick is unacceptable no matter who is throwing the ball.

Man, I'm torn on this whole Jarrett deal. I mean the guy has made some great catches during the handful of games he's played in during his 3 years. On the other hand, would Fox and Hurney keep this guy inactive if he was the real deal? I'm thinking not.

Ya'll might want to take another look at his "career" stats. Those 17 catches and stats are from last year only. Jarrett when he actually plays is productive

LMAO....Ok, you got me! 33 receptions in 3 years with 17 receptions as a season high is completely unacceptable for a 2nd round pick. And if he was soooo productive he wouldnt have been benched in favor of two nobodies

I said when he plays and is thrown the ball he has produced. I have no idea what was going on that caused Jarrett to be inactive so much. Maybe it was the coaches maybe Jarrett himself. But if we are looking at statsfrom last year Kenny Moore and Jarrett play almost the same amount of games. Jarrett has double the catches. So if we are going off production alone Kenny Moore has no business being on the field

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
