Mortal Kombat

After this year's E3, I can easily say Mortal Kombat is one of the games I'm looking forward to the most. They're bringing back some old school themes to the game, getting rid of that retarded 3d fighting plain, more M rated content, and more serious and gruesome overall.

I suggest you watch this stage demo, the x ray feature looks pretty sweet too.

It looks good, but I mean just like every MK game I've played, I get bored after 2-3 weeks.

It kind of looks like Marvel vs Capcom with the combos with 2 players and stuff. Graphics look upgraded and I like how they kinda went back to the originals, but it just to me is cool, but little replay value. Back when these games first came out it was constant replay because it was similar to the "arcade" style games that people played daily.

I hate the graphics personally.

I don't know why fighting games keep going for this action figure look. What happened to Dead or Alive? If the women are going to be naked, at least make their bodies more fluid.

Seems Soul Calibur and DoA are the only fighting games that have realistic women.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
