As has been noted, Vick did not go to jail solely because of the dog charade. In fact, it was such a "big deal" to the government because of the other crimes.

I see your point and I agree that society took the Vick thing to ridiculous levels, however, you need to understand the facts surrounding Vick, not just the hype, whether bad or good.

Wait wait wait...Silly person are you putting Animals lives on the same level as Human lives? At what point in this entire derailed thread did I say it was ok terrorize and brutalize animals? You may love your dog or whatever animal but by no needs would you save your dog if your child is sitting in a burning house. You can't be serious, They are not even on the same level.
