I looked into tape trading a few months ago and turned up empty handed. Most of the guys were traders of specific teams and they didn't want to deal with anyone unless they had very rare games. There were also no dedicated Panthers tape traders which didn't help, but it also gave me an idea to try and start a Panthers Tape trading community.

I figured I would make a thread to see how much game tape we have that is verified to exist. Websites like Youtube or Hulu count too.

I don't think we can talk about distributing tape and definitely not talk about money exchanging hands even if you just mean for the costs of a DVD or something. So try not to do that so the topic doesn't get closed. Just PM eachother.

I don't think I will put partial games in this thread unless we can piece together partial games to make a full one.

Even if you see a game already posted and you have it, tell us anyway.

Why doesn't the NFL archive games on their website? Slack.

I honestly don't know. I figure they would make more money selling archived games than making people watch NFL network hoping they'll play their favorite game every 18 months. They could at least be like PBS where you can call their archives to get tapes.

Seriously, libraries (of any form) become pretty important at some point, especially for fanatics. Limiting fans in this fashion is pretty stupid considering the vast resources of the NFL.

All of my games are taped from my Comp through a capture card so they're all digital. In HD too. Should make them last for a while.

NFL game rewind lets you watch hd video from 2008 and 2009. NFL gamepass is really confusing. It says that it's only available outside the US, but then it says you get it when you get NFL rewind:confused::confused:

very vauge this is. I'm still probabyl going to pay 15 bucks for it just to see some of the earlier games from 2008 and 2009. I missed pretty much all of 09 and lost most of the games I taped when my HD puked it's guts out. I also lost the ealier games from 08.

I bought the rewind thing. It's wonderful. Has all games from 2008 and 2009 except for pre-season. 16 bucks and I have it until august 3rd.

I watched the chargers game which was fun.

Then out of curiosity I watched that 59-0 blowout of the titans by the patriots. I wanted to just hear the announcers reactions, it was pretty good stuff. It's fun watching the suckage, it just gets worse and worse. Brady had a perfect rating while Collins had a 0 rating. There won't be an epic stomping like that for a long time.

I might watch the 09 Cardinals game or 08 Bears game tomorrow in an attempt to not drink before 12.
