Bulls sign Carlos Boozer to 5yr deal

Redick is a free agent?

Restricted free agent. He's the perfect third guy to team up with Amar'e and LeBron, or to go with Rose and Boozer. He's obviously not a guy that can create his own shot, but he showed in the playoffs that he can be a starter.

im a bit surprised we haven't heard any rumors about him signing w/ anyone. UNC fan here, and i love this guy

He's waiting for the first wave of FA (like felton) to be over and try and score with those who lost out on Lebron like Chicago. Boston has also shown interest, don't know if its die out since resigning Allen or not. Orlando said they would match most any deal for him; I assume unless its a poison pill type deal.

    • Though question the validity of this chart, it does remind me of concerns I have with our offense. I’m unsure whether it’s Canales doesn’t trust Bryce to execute his gameplan or if the route concepts and scheme is vanilla and unimaginative by design.  When watching other games, the receivers seem like they get more separation and aren’t as clustered together as ours. The Panthers WR, TE and RBs, more often than not, seem very close to each other and almost like their feet are stuck in a lower gear in and out of routes/off the LOS. Often times, unclear of their positioning when the first read isn’t there and where they should be positioned within the options of that particular route concept (e.g. Bryce is under duress and the play breaks down….where do you go? Pre-snap we thought it was man, it’s disguised well as zone). It’s almost like if the coaches don’t tell them, the players aren’t intelligent enough to figure this out on their own. Or are the players simply doing as told by the coaches in film study, practice and in-game, which means the coaching is inept.
    • I think Young has totally killed the idea of drafting undersized QB's and hoping it works. Especially at such a high pick and putting all your cards on the table. He won't last in this league.
    • Well, maybe it will save us some money down the line when it is time to give him a new deal. Might be one of the unsung Benefits of Bryce.
