i hate this type of thread but it's a rough night and it's easier to vent at people who don't know me.

he caught a cold and was too old to fight it off and the vet said he was just letting go.

he liked cigars and underage prostitutes. and he would sit on my shoulder like he was a parrot.

the dog is hovering over her bone and looking around at sam's empty bed wondering why nobody is trying to sniff it.

I'd be f'ing torn up if something ever happened to Braveheart. (my cat. and no, she wasn't named for the movie.) She's my nurse, my guard cat and she has been with me since before I got rid of the ex-fiancee.

Sorry, man. Be careful who you tell. Lot of people think of cats as hamsters or something like that, and will laugh when you tell them. Twenty years is a long time. Sorry about your loss.

heck yes he did. i mean the first photos i have of him he was laying on my 49ers jacket because the Panthers didn't even exist yet. i was 10 years old and i'm just about 30 now.

in a way i'm glad he decided to go now. i'm moving to a new state and will be living in hotels and then in a new house. that would've been way too much stress and confusion on him.
