It's better than golf or baseball if you're looking for something to pass some time. Kind of like NASCAR but at an even slower pace, the crashes can be pretty awesome I saw this guy fly off of a bridge one time.

The last thing you want is manliness that depends on something going wrong. But yes, it is still better than watching golf or baseball.

I'm pretty psyched about the upcoming season. We consistently bounce back from rough seasons with very strong performances. We may not handle success all that well, but our team does a great job of turning things around when we get down.

I think last year's disappointing season, the loss of several iconic team members, the media disrespecting our chances, the way we came on at the end of last season, and this year's more favorable schedule will all combine to drive us to a much, much better year. I just wish it would hurry up and get started!

Ever since our 7-9 season in 02 (Fox's first year) I've always like counted down the days until the opening of our training camp. Maybe its because I don't think we're going to be that good this year, but I can't say I'm that excited. In fact, I'm not that excited about the NFL as a whole. I'm not even that excited for college football, and my team is the defending BCS Champs ROLL DAMN TIDE!!!. Hopefully I'll come around soon but camp is about to start in a few weeks, and I'm just not there yet for some reason...idk.

Excited about the upcoming season? Always, no matter how great or bleak our summertime outlook is. Nothing wrong with being excited/optimistic about what could happen come September.

Even when we went 1-15, they weren't blowout games. We lost by a field goal here, a missed catch there. We were still competitive, we just couldn't close the deal.

Each fall brings new energy. You may not like the off-season changes, but that doesn't mean that you can't be excited about making another playoff or SB run -- though honestly, I don't think that I'll be making a February trek to Dallas this year (but I want the team to prove me wrong on this).

Speaking of getting ready for the next season - some single-game tix are already available. See the PSL thread for presale info for CAR-ATL on Jan 2. Deal ends today if you're looking to roadtrip for the last game of the season on a holiday weekend. Regular sale starts on Jul 31.

I wasn't excited about last year after our embarassment at home. My hope and anticipation dropped. Plus it was my first year of college, I wasn't really following us last summer honestly. Now I'm glued

Idk maybe its the have a bad season, follow with a good one we continue to pretty much go through. We super young, but we had a lot of veterans last season that they learned from

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
