Well, I finally went to the Dr for this... I've been trying to get it well... I let it rest for a while, then I've been doing some specific exercises, but nothing seemed to help. Went to see him this morning and he said it's more than likely a rotator cuff tear... they have scheduled an MRI. We shall see... :(

sorry buddy but surgery is going to be the remedy for that.

Good luck... how did you hurt yours?

Yeah Salty, that's what I'm afraid of that they'll have to cut on me. But it's to the point that I have to get it fixed, it's bothering me all the time, I can't play golf and I can only do about half of the exercises in the gym that I want to do, plus it wakes me up at night.

It hurts... my left shoulder, since I played golf Tuesday... right in the joint. If I bend my elbow 90* and raise my arm it pops and hurts... If I bend my elbow 90* and rotate my arm from where my hand is on my chest out away from my body, it gets to about 2/3 of the way and pops.

What is my problem?

(Thank you Saltman, I know I'm old... more specific please.)

Tug with the other arm for a few weeks.:willy_nilly:

Well, if that helps, I had to have scissors inside my throat at the age of 6.

It wasn't any one event--just 3 weeks ago, started out with a dull ache and 2 weeks ago, very sharp pain every time I moved my arm away from my body.

As it turns out, I had X-rays this morning, and I have calcium deposits--little pellets all around my tricep, bicep and tendons. You can't dissolve them, the only option is to get them taken out. I am not yet to that point, and don't know that I ever will be. Got 2 cortisone shots, though, so that should hold me for a while.

I think that is more rare in men due to vitamin D deficiencies in women.

      I'm talking about on any team. I keep hearing that but have yet to see an example. The last high flying offense I've seen was the Rams "Greatest Show on Turf". Since then it's been just average for passing offenses across the league.
