Dear Raven Fans,

Okay, let me try and explain this one more time.

The result of the review is that you get a five yard penalty. Get it? A penalty against your team.

You lose fives yards. You see? This is a bad thing.

In my opinion, you probably shouldn't cheer for this when it happens, but to each his own.

Sincerely,

- Terry McAulay

PS: Put your shirts back on...please!

Dear Ron Jaworski:

Thanks again for the tip about catching the ball with my hands; a monday night football broadcast wouldn't be complete without it.

This week in practice I'll remember your words of wisdom, and fight the urge to try to catch the football with my tongue.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
