Long shot Panthers RB Vaughan trying to run past odds

I like Vaughan too, but you guys are crazy for wanting him over Goodson. Goodson has had some ball security problems, but those can be fixed. He has a ton of potential, and being that he's our fourth-string back, we have time to develop him or to experiment in using him at receiving or returning.

goodson = jarrett = can't be fixed = no real potential = not worth the time to develop or experiment....

lets learn a lesson from jarrett and not make the same mistake twice. we'll regret in a couple of years when vaughan is playing well for another team and we're finally cutting goodson loose.

I'm not sure you can fairly compare Goodson and Jarrett at this point and have similar expectations. Jarrett was a 2nd round pick, brought in to become a starter at WR, hasn't panned out yet.

Goodson was a versatile athlete who practically just got here, and a 4th round selection. He's buried on the depth chart right now by exceptional RB talent, and the pressure just isn't going to be the same on him as it is on DJ.

Just my two cents, fwiw

BTW - As for finally getting to my 1,000th post, how about some balloons, or a piece of pie to celebrate. :cheers2:
