The Other Guys

Went to see it last night. Wasn't BAD necessarily. But it was kind of slow to start. The first 10-15 I was really hoping "please don't let this move suck after I've spent 8 bucks". But it progressively got funnier to me.

Best part to me is the simple fact of the character that Mark Wahlberg plays. More of a comedy role than usual for him, so it made it fresh and funny to see. Also, the whole basis of his character is great. Will Ferrell...well, the same guy as always. His character got stale after half the movie, then towards the end he made me laugh a couple of times.

All in all, a wait-for-rental movie. Now excuse me while I kill the girl who made me go spend extra money to see it in the theater.

By kill her I hope you mean sex her up.

Looks ok, I didn't really plan on making an effort to go see it.

I felt the same way when I went to see it (luckily I get in free as I have a friend that is a manager at the theater). It is an average movie and funny at times. Seems like most movies are like that nowadays. The trailer looks better than the actual movie. Just not as many great movies because of all the remakes. However, I highly recommend Inception, especially if you are a Matrix fan!

    • Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.
    • Currently Cam and Bryce have the exact same career completion percentage at 59.9. The differences in their play/career arcs are immense, however.
    • LOL we have been talking about fixing Bryce Youngs footwork for almost 3 years now.if his footwork has shown little to no improvement in that amount of time then you might have to come to the realization while at the same time using a little common sense it's not natural to Bryce Young with his small stature/ size to step up in the pocket plant his feet & drive the ball from the back leg to the front leg while remaining stable.no instead you see BY becoming easily overly excited & then as a result starts alot of unessary scrambling & hopping around & maybe it's not necassirly he is scared all the time & it has more to do with his height & he is trying to find the right angles for visual purposes whatever it is he  puts himself in a position where he cannot stay balanced when he throws the ball & anytime you throw the ball unbalanced it not only effects your power but it also effects your accuracy/ timing point being the real problem with Bryce Youngs bad footwork is his small size ...just saying
