actually, leron mcclain rushed for 32 yards on 10 attempts, mcclain isnt even the starter

So the #2 RB ran for 3.2 ypc the first preseason game of the year and that means that our D is bad.

So for perspective we rushed for 142 yards against Baltimore. Our fifth string RB rushed for 48 yards on 11 carries. Well by your logic Baltimore is going to have an absolutely terrible D this year. I doubt that very seriously on either account.

I'm just sayin, some believe that ray rice is bound for a fantasy year this year. It would be different, if we held Rice to 21 yards, then it would be a little more believable.

Actually... Curtis Steele rushed for 32 yards on 10 carries against our 3rd and 4th string defense, players that probably won't even start. Le'Ron McClain rushed for 21 yards on 4 carries... a 5.3 average. But you can't just look at the stats, because McClain only broke one nice run, and the rest were really short. Our defensive line will be the strength of our defense this year, just watch...

    • Ok, we ain't making the playoffs unless something insanely crazy happens and plus it's November, time to start planning for the draft this spring.  Pretty simple, list our positions of need, address in the draft (or left to FA) and round we should draft that need. Currently we have 8 selections, the actual slot in each round still to be determined by finishing order, but I can't see a huge swing one way or the other. (This as of Week 10) Needs: (no particular order) ILB, CB, DL, Edge, S, QB, IOL, OT Rd1: ILB/EDGE Rd2:OT Rd3:Edge/ILB (opposite of round 1) Rd4:S Rd5-a:CB Rd5-b:QB Rd6:IOL Rd7:DL
    • Isn’t XL the player Nicole Tepper told Canales to trade-up for during draft day?
    • Yeah it is along the lines of ‘fraud vitiates everything’, it just prevents an honest assessment.  You got guys with some acknowledged issues, really swimming upstream due to the quality of the QB.    I think back to game two this year when he got a lot of targets and was unable to do anything. When you look back nothing, or maybe one, was in a decent place for him to get.  I think it was week two. And ‘a lot’ maybe be overstating but there were a few.
