Every last one of you that are on here bitching were on the bandwagon prior to this loss.

I for one will be in Spartanburg on the first day of training camp supporting Delhomme, Fox, Smith, and the rest of my Panthers. The rest of yall be damned. As soon as the Super Bowl is over, I'm sure you will be visiting NFL.com to buy a jersey for your new team.

Huddleidice, badwagonism.... whatever you want to call it, it's bullsh*t. This team went from 8-8, 7-9, to a damn good season. They played a shitty game at the wrong time. Good ridence to the part timers. At least this loss will clear the trash out of this board come February.

Agreed. Pretty sure everyone on here is just releasing their pent up frustration with Saturdays performance but I haven't heard anyone swearing off the panthers for good like some cubs fans have done after our most current postseason flop.

I'm in Chicago right now on business. Cold as f*ck. Supposed to be 7 degrees tomorrow.

Hey right now were 0-0 and the defending NFC South Champs.

We have a a lot of talent on this team and the leadership to get us where we need to go in our team leaders.

Next season will be just as fun.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Im not happy with Fox, Delhomme and a couple other players/coaches, and it doesnt have a damn thing to do with 'being on a bandwagon'. Ive supported the Panthers since their inception, and I always will. Being a huge fan, however, I can express my disgust with a team that has no excuse for having a bad game. They had two weeks to prepare for an opponent we are surely better than. At home. I feel their should be some changes, as should anyone who really wants this fanchise to move forward.

That being said, Ill never wish ill upon this team or anyone on it, so whoever is in the organization next year will be cheered for. The same way I cheered during the bad seasons.

Being unwilling to question your favorite team, or want better things for them doesnt make you a better fan. it makes you a sheep. Baaaaah.

I don't love Fox nor do I hate him. But the fact of the matter is that he is still a good coach and I am content with him. Would you really want the Herm Edwards and so on of the world? He brought this team from absolute garbage to a competitive team. Just look at the years we didn't make the playoffs;

2004- ravaged with injuries and still came close

2006- starting QB hurt and still came close

2007- QB caroussel and still was close

All of those years we came within a game or two of making the playoffs and the ball certainly didn't bounce our way. I bet we could have easily made the postseason if we would have atleast had a couple things go our way. We just came off an impressing 12-4from an ugly 7-9. Who's to say we can't be on par or even better next season. I will admit that Turd needs to go but one bad game shouldn't dictate a season or the upcoming one. Take it easy guys.

    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
