New look or new stadium for Panthers?

But the question remains, how will they pay for it and what happens to PSL owners if they build a new stadium. Those PSLs were guaranteed for life. That was life of the owner which could then be passed down to future generations, not life of the stadium which apparently is 30 years. Even with major renovations, who pays for it?? Future revenue it will generate?

I didn't buy my PSLs thinking that BofA was going to be there for 100 years. I knew that someday a new facility would have to be built. I figure if a new stadium is built 20 years from now, the current PSL owner will get the first right of refusal to purchase PSL's at the new stadium. Maybe even give the old license some value towards buying a new license.

been to BOA a few times and I think it's pretty nice in there. Nice to be planning for the future though...the article said 10-15 years...that sounds about right if you really think about it. Always about bigger and better!

I could see Danny trying to make BoA a destination attraction with more activities, amenities, etc. that could generate revenue during the off season as well.

Both true and valid.

With that said, I'd like to see the team have more success - like winning a Super Bowl, for example - before I could really get behind this idea.

Somebody's getting their panties in a wad prematurely, I think.

Truth is if I am here in 20 years I will consider myself pretty lucky. But the reality is that before they start seriously discussing this proposal, there needs to be some discussion about how it will get funded and the role of PSL owners. Since we were the first stadium built like this, we will be the first facing this issue.

For the record, that would be getting my boxers in a wad not panties.

I'm certain there will be a lot of discussion about funding and the role of PSL owners.
