Like others have said go get yourself some raid/insect killer.

Proceed to make a smoker by bundling newspaper/green things and smoke them out first if you want to make sure you won't get stung, then proceed to raid the hell out of the thing.

Of just set it on fire. Aerosol + lighter.

^This guys method seemed pretty effective. Although there was quite the backlash against him because of the whole issue of honey bees disappearing. Although I think it's still PC to kill hornets.
