D-line vs. Tennessee O-line

Recommended Posts

For all the new faces around here proclaiming either who will be the starting QB and why or how terrible the loss of veterans will be or any other done-to-death thread here.....

This would be what the Huddle is like when you actually bring up a relative original thought on the forums. Please take note and act accordingly.

Don't worry; they won't get the message.

You put out too much as it is. ;)

ha like my ex girlfriens.... bazzing!

on a serious note. i'm glad we face potent O's and D's this preseason. its def a great test for our young guys... which raise a question. who makes the preseason schedual? and why do we play the steelers every year in preseason?

The New York and Baltimore lines proved average at best last year. They both tried to upgrade in the offseason, but are still working out the kinks and I think we exploited that (hence different players looking good in either game). The strengths of the Titan's line remained primarily intact, and that line was statisticly a strong line to begin with. This will be a different kind of test for us, and I for one think we have talent to step up to the plate here. I'm expecting some major plays on defense this week.

:P

So all the Steeler fans in the Carolinas will go to the game. Last I heard the Steeler jerseys outnumbered the Panther jerseys 2 to 1.

ah yes... always leavin a paper trail. a friend of mine (steelers fan) says its b/c that hurney and the steelers owner are friends. any truth to that?

Im more concerned about getting that passing game going. their secondary has a good safety in Hope and a really good corner in Finnegan

Just run play-action and send Steve Smith deep... worked against them with Andre Johnson last year.

And Cortland 'burned-again-negan' is kinda overrated IMO. Hell, we even wrote a limerick about him. :P

    • Don't have to be miss cleo. His weakness are length, athleticism, creating his own shot, defense, finishing at the rim,  Strengths - shooting and IQ.   Likely won't work as non athletic shooters don't typically work.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
