Jake "sooner or later" Delhomme

It's a person's right to like Jake, and complaining that someone does is basically saying your right to hate him holds more value...

We're all fans..

All I was saying is that it isn't a "this board" thing... If you don't like this board and it's people, then that's your problem...

Hell, I don't want Jake out there on the field as much as anyone, but I ain't gonna go saying I am correct in my assessment...

I supported Delhomme...many times, hard to tell if it was him, the play calls, the skill around him.

I'm done with that however...for the price of a ticket and the price of a game and the emotional investment, a person can hear only so often 'i laid an egg' or 'we laid an egg'.

What bullshit.

Funny how Fox uses statistics when it helps him.

I've given up. The bottom line the only thing I'm empowered to do is to give up my PSLs or to sell tickets I own. Its either that, or put up with it.

At the end of the day the only person empowered to force change is JR.

If we don't like it, our only recourse is to not be at the stadium, not buy jerseys, etc.

I think a lot of people don't understand how anyone could be unhappy with a 12-4 season. It is not that the Panthers lose big games, its how they lose them, totally out-coached, totally under-performing, no adjustments to game situations and if they are made, they are made too late.

They were flat out lucky to have won at least 4 games this year. Their luck ran out Saturday night, for over-priced tickets, with a full house, and a national audience.

lol

wtf?

Lol

this guy is classless. On the other board he made a thread celebrating delhomme injury. Worked out pretty good for us last year didn't it?

The idea that if Jake Delhomme does not start for the Panthers due to injury or otherwise automatically renders the Panthers inept or a lost cause of sorts is pretty stupid. There are only 32 starting positions and the entire world to recruit from. To think that Jake fvccking Delhomme has to be one of them is not seeing the big picture.

Don't you know carolinarolls' coaching/decision making prowess could have us in a dynasty situation by now??

Jeez man, get a clue!

I say we sign Vick to a 2 year contract, draft The Golden Calf of Bristol next year and only run the Wild Cat formation for the next two years.

HOW ABOUT IT?!?!?!!?

I don't know about all that sammy jack

...but we definitely would not have had to deal with losing him in 2007 or watching him struggle in 2008 only to embarrassingly fall in his face last Saturday night.

I would have spared you that at least.

In all fairness you would not have seen him since mid 2005 season if it were up to me.

I admire the yearning for CHANGE. It seems to be a popular ("pop") pattern of thinking as of late. But The Golden Calf of Bristol is never gonna be a starter in the NFL under center IMO and Mike Vick is going to be a hard thing to stomach in a panther uni.

I like the single wing idea. We have the runners. Maybe if we can get a DT, CB, and DE in the draft, a new DC to replace Trgo, and somehow resign Peppers and Gross we can work Moore in. I doubt we ever draft a QB in the first round under FOx and Richardson and to be fair, rarely do they work out like Flacco and Ryan have.
