I am not saying Matt Moore is a bad qb. I dont really like Clausen. In this draft we should really think about getting Pryor with his running ability and his great arm. He is a bigger and better Vince Young. As demonstrated in Tennesee, Young and Johnson are a potent combination. Or perhaps we can get Harris who is a great pocket passer with athletic ability. Although, he isn't as mobile has the tendency to throw interceptions

What is the date? Did I miss the season already?

Can we just live in the moment for a few months first? As bad as this moment is right now, we have been waiting for it for 9 months, lets enjoy what we can while we can, there might not be football next year.....so that leaves 15 games for this moment.

Your options are Harris and Pryor? Really? Did you watch the game on Saturday?

Neither will amount to much in the NFL. Pryor can't throw anything but the deep ball and Harris makes far too many ridiculous mistakes - not to mention he has marginal arm strength (and that's coming from a 'Canes fan).

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
