Cleveland Connection: Hiring losers breeds losing

I don't read Charlotte.com. Your rationale is overwhelmingly insightful. "Jake sucked because he sucks." Wow. He sucked all the way to the super bowl. The rest of your points are equally impressive. Thought for a moment, you were going to make a point.

He sucks because of Tommy Jone. (no seriously, that injury fuged him up.)

This isn't incredibly difficult to follow, but I can get my Glenn Beck chalkboard out and make bullet points if that'd make it easier for you.

I think I mentioned the QB fiasco in Cleveland, where 2 other QBs died on the vine.

This depends on wether you think Quinn and Anderson bad players becuase of the QB coach or because they just weren't NFL capable starters.

Personally I don't think Quinn wouldve been good regardless of the coach. With Anderson the jury is out. But if you give him crap for Anderson sucking, then you need to give him props for getting Anderson to the pro bowl with 29 touchdowns in 07.

It's not Scherer. It was Jake. It's now Moore. We have had and have AVERAGE qbs here. End of story. Stop trying to place a blame on anything else. Moore will never be a great QB. He may "take us" to a Playoff game, just like Jake did three times, but damn...he just isn't a star. Is Clausen one? Probably not, but it'd be nice to finally have a star qb here. One day, one day.

Well, Anderson did beat Leinart for the starting job in Arizona.

Here's his stats from yesterday...

22/41 297-yards 1-TD 0-Ints. 85.1 QB rating

Not bad. Not awesome... but not bad. Though a 300 yard game is nothing to sneeze at.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
