Like Del-Rio said, there needs to be some common sense injected into these calls/fines, A player grazing the QB's helmet in a non malicious manner shouldn't be a concern.

I can't help but think if Stafford didn't crack his egg shell this wouldn't be a problem.

That's not the plau Peppers was fined for. That was the play that put Stafford out of the game. The play Peppers was fined for was earlier in the game (obviously)
