No Way. Moore is not the answer, McCown is a joke, we don't have a first rnd pick, and there is no FA QBs available that would fit here. Warner not coming to a running team and probley to late in his career to even be considerd. Collins no place in Charlotte and anyone else is a bum. Jake will be our starter next season, but we do need him to renegotiate his deal.

Even if we had a first rd pick Fox wouldn't take a QB. QBs can be found. Brady 5th rd. Cassel 7th rd. Romo UD So it can happen.

I agree Jake will be the QB next season, but it is time to start looking. But all this talk might not matter. If we don't have a better ending next season, there will be a serious rebuilding in Carolina and everybody will be out.

what will jake have to do for some of you to open your eyes.....punch jon beason in the eye????cause i swear there were more people wanting smith gone when he punched lucas then there are jake after his pass performances.

clearly this year showed all we need is a qb that can at least not hurt us with turnovers,so there's alot of qb's out there with that resume....the problem is when i say drop jake some of you expect us to replace him with a peytrn manning or some sh*t,instead of looking for a qb that won't turn the ball over.

i don't get some of you,peppers gets 14.5 sacks and you want him gone,jake throws 5ints in one game(a playoff one) and now he's untouchable.

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
