sorry, had to.

anyway, Clausen was considered a good pro prospect by just about everyone. There were major questions about his attitude, that is why he didn't go earlier.

He has done well, attitude-wise, so far... he seems to work well with his team mates. *shrugs*

We'll see. Maybe Clausen won't be "our savior," but it's hard to imagine him doing worse than Moore when he basically surpassed his completion numbers in one drive.

Yes, you need help with writing.

Anyway, they put Clausen in and he does the same thing as Moore, but it was acceptable because he played for Wise. How gives a poo about that were gonna replace Moore, which they shouldn't they should put Pike in. He has better college career than Clausen and he played for a much lower profile team. The name looking for a name performance. And where was s tewart. I like w illiams but s tewart should be the number won (one, LOL).

HAHA I think its funny that someone trying to call another poster out on their grammar can't even spell SENTENCE right... you fail bro.

Its sentence not "sentAnce"

Yeah i do agree. But the results were the same. The think that made him look better was the fact that, for some reason, the running game actually pick up. But i do think that Pike should be the number to. He is a much better QB. He just not as big of a name. But i dont think that we should give up on Moore so early.

Smiff thanks for the grammar correction, now i know how to make my post a lot more coherent because im sure that my point wasn't getting across with the mistake of how instead of who.

agreed

Why did Delhomme deserve that long of a leash? He had the same crap career leading into the NFL that Moore had. Delhomme has had decent seasons because he had Muhammad to catch the ball. Smith can't carry the team on his own, which is obvious, and Delhomme didn't know how the spread the ball around. We kept Delhomme in as the starter for a long time because we didn't trust our other QB's. Moore finished off last season with an impressive record, he deserves every bit of a chance that Delhomme had to prove himself. Two games isn't enough time to make a decision on a QB.

If you think that Clausen is going to fix this teams problems then you're sorely mistaken. Our O-Line is anything short of horrible, our receivers can't catch a ball that hits them directly in the hands and our secondary (especially Gamble) can't stick with anyone without getting pass interference. The only bright spot on our defense is Beason.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
