Screen passes.

My goodness, the screens we ran today when he was playing were works of art. Mostly, because of lowered expectations from Panther screens. But his footwork and vision effectively sold two screens that led to two decent gains.

I know this isn't much, but at this point I need something to make me feel better.

I hear ya on that. Jake couldn't throw a HB screen to save his life either.

I meant to mention this earlier but I was busy shitting on ownership and coaches...

But yeah, you're right... That screen to DWill was the best HB Screen we have ever ran in the history of this franchise. And that's not being caught up in the immediacy of the moment, I'm serious.

They looked like pros out there ;)

I hear ya about needing something to make me feel better. That is what I like about Clausen.... just the fact overall he could be a franchise QB.

I was never on the Moore bandwagon. I held out hope he could prove my thoughts wrong. I just think there is a big difference between winning games at the end of season when it only counts for the other team vs when its the beginning or mid season when it counts for both. I held out hope he could build on that but it looks like that is not going to happen.

At this point there is nothing to lose by starting Clausen. He cant be any worse than Moore. Man this sounds just like last season when Jake was horrible and Moore couldnt be any worse then him.

Of course bad QB play is only part of the problem with this team.

      I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!

      Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.

      Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays.
