another good thing is the Saints defense isn't even comparable to the Bengals defense. I thought Clausen looked alright, the whole team was just off today.

Remember, Peyton Manning threw 3 interceptions in his first ever start. No one should have expected Clausen to go in and put up great stats in his first start ever against a strong Bengals defense.

Clausen has looked very accurate and really puts some zip on the ball. They should activate Jarrett since Clausen is the only QB that can squeeze the ball in there to him. Jarrett's hands are gold if they aren't going to cut him they might as well use him unless we want to give Armanti a chance.

Even if we have a bad season the games will at least be watchable as we see Clausen develop.

The team is still playing hard they just keep beating themselves. If we put a cap on the turnovers suddenly we'll look like the team we all want.

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
